This publication consists of reprints of Colson's daily radio
broadcasts. The pamphlet "Reasons for Faith" is from this source
and is also recommended.
Geisler, Norman L. and Turek, Frank, I Don't Have Enough FAITH to be an ATHEIST. Crossway Books, Wheaton, Illinois, 2004. Who says there isn't enough evidence for God? This 400 page book lays it out. We gave this book to a Buddhist/Atheist who refused to read beyond the first chapter because interferred so much with his worldview.

Lewis, C. S., Mere Christianity, Collier Books, Macmillan

some theologians disagree with aspects of his theology, Lewis'
book may be especially helpful to the atheist. He discusses how
he intellectually worked through his atheism leading him to give
it up. Charles Colson attributes this book to overcoming his intellectual
objections to Christianity.

Institute as classic answerbooks on the Christian faith, these
books would be excellent choices to start your understanding of

McDowell, Josh, Evidence That Demands A Verdict, Volumes I
and II, Historical Evidences for the Christian Faith, Thomas

that Christianity has no basis in rational evidence then get these
books. Very detailed reference works. Not as easy reading as the
other books on this list, but are considered classics of Christian
apologetics.

Dallas, TX, 1991. A scholarly book of essays, with emphasis on
the scientific and philosophical aspects of the Christian faith.
Morris, Henry M., annotations for The Defenders Study Bible,
King James Version, World Publishing, Inc., 1995. Available
from the Institute for Creation Research (619-448-0900). This
study Bible contains a wealth of information. Every student of
Christianity will benefit from this work.
Sire, James W., The Universe Next Door, InterVarsity Press,
Downers Grove, IL 60515, 1988. Discusses such worldviews as nihilism,
existentialism, pantheism, new age, deism, and how they intellectually
pale to Christian theism. A must reading for all college students.
Sproul, R. C., Reason to Believe, Zondervan Publishing

top teachers of theology of our time. His powerful book is perhaps
our favorite on this list. You will not be the same after reading
this 159 page paperback.
Strobel, Lee, The Case for Christ, Zondervan Publishing
House, 1998. This scholarly work reads like a novel. This is an
exciting book.
Stott, John R. W., Basic Christianity, InterVarsity Press,

a Christian? Stott's short paperback walks one through the Christian
faith.
